Turkish eggs with Bread Toast

Ever wondered that you can make your favorite Turkish egg with bread toast at home with only few ingredients at a much lower cost. Here is the recipe guide for you all.

Serves- 1 person

Time required – 20mins

Ingredients :

  • Hung curd/Greek Yogurt- 1cup
  • Minced garlic- 1tsp
  • Salt- According to taste
  • Eggs- 2no.
  • Butter- 1tbsp
  • Oil- 1tsp
  • Paprika powder/Chilli flakes- 1/2tsp
  • Rosemary/any herb- 1tsp
  • Toasted Breads- To serve with.

Method :

  • On a double boiler, mix the hung curd with minced garlic and salt till smooth.
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl.
  • Poach 2 eggs. You can also break the eggs in a greased bowl and place them in a shallow pan with boiling water and cover the pan for 4mins. Take them out with a spoon and transfer them into the serving bowl.
  • Heat oil and butter in a pan, add paprika powder and herb of your choice and mix.
  • Spoon this chilli butter on the eggs.
  • Enjoy warm with toasted bread.
